In lieu of a recent decision to effectively limit the plant kingdom to just what are (essentially) multicellular plants (in order to eliminate the algae from the kingdom), I take a wider view and include such organisms at the frontiers of the plant kingdom as: algae (both unicellular and multicellular), lichens (and their relatives the fungi), and the cyanobacteria (probably the first plants in our world). So this is a guide to the terminology of plants sensu lato. 9125 terms are defined.
